What is the weaving process?
Weaving technology is the process of woven fabric manufacturing by interlacing two sets of yarn i.e. warp yarn and weft yarn at the right angle. Different developed machines use in the textile industries such as air jet loom, jacquard loom, shuttleless loom, rapier loom, and others. Basically, three types of fabrics are produced in fabric manufacturing technology, they are woven, knitted, and non-woven fabric. Therefore, a weaving machine uses for producing woven fabric. Specifically, various types of tasks need to do before the weaving action. After the spinning process; yarns are divided particularly into two forms one is warp yarn another is weft yarn. Thereupon, warp yarns produce by roll winding and weft yarns produce by cop winding.
Flow Chart Of Fabric Manufacturing Process
The woven fabric manufacturing process performs step by step. I like to divide this process into two parts equally one is weavers beam preparation another is weft yarn preparation. At last. weaving is done by the interlacement of these two types of yarn. The following is the process flow chart of weaving technology.

Flow Chart of Weaving (Weft yarn preparation)
The weft yarn is directly used in the weaving process during fabric manufacturing. In fact, weft yarn does not need warping, sizing, denting, etc.

In sum, the above weaving flow chart mostly uses cotton and jute fabric production. Although these techniques vary depending on the machine which is used for producing fabric basic concept is the same.
Characteristics of Woven Fabrics
The woven fabric has some characteristics. The following are the characteristics of woven fabric. They are-
- Thickness,
- Areal density,
- Fabric cover,
- Porosity,
- Elasticity,
- Stiffness,
- Drapability,
- Resistance to creasing,
- Air permeability,
- Heat insulation,
- Electric properties,
- Breaking strength,
- Resistance to tear,
- Resistance to abrasion.
- Fabric’s structure
In sum, the above characteristics are common for woven fabrics. But this may be different depending on the structure of the woven fabric.
So, that’s all about woven fabric manufacturing in textile mills.
