The cotton fabric printing process is used to produce various types of decorative and attractive designs on the surface of the cotton fabric. Printing is a method of wet processing technology. Through the printing process; various types of decorative and attractive designs are produced on the surface of the fabric.

Flow Chart Of Printing Process For 100% Cotton Fabric:

Cotton printing is the most used process. The printing flow chart depends on the fiber types. Natural fiber such as cotton, wool, and silk contains various types of impurities for this reason it is required to remove the impurities before the dyeing and printing process. This process is known as the pre-treatment process. After printing, the finishing process is carried out to improve the outlooking of the printed fabric. Here, I have written about the printing process of 100% cotton.

The following is the flow chart of the cotton fabric printing process. They are-

Inspection of grey cloth

Stitching

Shearing or Cropping

Singeing

Desizing

Washing

Scouring

Bleaching

Washing

Stentering

Printing

Steaming

Washing

Calendaring

Inspection

Folding or Rolling

Packing

In sum, the above flow chart is for non-mercerized fabric. For mercerized fabric; mercerizing, neutralizing, and washing are done between the washing and stentering process. That means it is done after the scouring and bleaching process.

So, if we want to print a cotton fabric we have to follow the above process sequence.

  1. Sir ,need definition of all object of bleaching process. Such as inspection, stitching, shearing & chopping,etc.
