Knitting
Knitting is a process of fabric manufacturing by interesting or Interlooping the loops of yarns. Basically, loops form in the horizontal or vertical directions when one loop is drawn through another. Moreover, the knit fabric produces by making a loop using a needle in a knitting machine. Different types of cam designs such as Knit Cam, Tuck Cam, Miss Cam are used in a knitting machine to produce a Knit fabric. Knit fabric manufacturing is a continuous process for making varieties types of plain and designed fabrics.
Fabric manufacturing methods are divided into three types such as weaving, knitting, and non-weaving. Additionally, yarns are the primary materials to produce different types of fabric. Similarly, knitted fabrics are one of them. Knitting technology is one of the Interlooping methods for producing knitted fabrics.

Process flow chart of Knitting Technology:
Knitting is one of the textile fabric manufacturing processes in the knitting mill. When different types of knitting machines use to produce knit fabric. The manufacturers of the knitting machines added various features to the machine to make it easy to operate. Anyhow, I have illustrated the knitted fabric manufacturing process with a process flow chart.
Knitting Process In Textile Industry: The following is the process flow chart of the knitting process.

Above all, Knit fabric manufacturing is a step-by-step process. Firstly, yarn collects in cone form from spinning, Secondly, yarn cone feeds in the creel. Thirdly, the yarn feeds in the feeder via trip tape positive arrangement and tension device to adjust fabric gsm and others. After that, knit fabric forms by knitting action. After the knitting process, the grey knit fabrics withdraw from the fabric roller and weighted to send in the inspection section. Then, the numbering of the fabric is done, and the grey knit fabrics are dispatched to the next processing section. Additionally, some processes add for knit fabric manufacturing such as seeding, brush, wash but it depends on buyer requirements and the manufacturing process.
Features of Knit Fabric:
Knit fabrics have different features. The following are the common features of knit fabrics. They are-
- Firstly, Knit fabrics are good comfortable to wear.
- Secondly, it has good texture properties.
- Thirdly, It makes low wrinkle than woven fabrics.
- After that, it has bulky effect.
- Then, knit fabrics has good elasticity property.
- It is also easy to sew and wear.
- In fact it has low wastage rate than in woven fabric.
- Finally, this fabric type has good porosity to air & water.
In sum, different designed knitted fabrics are produced by the above techniques. The knit fabric has a worldwide popularity for its features by comparison. As a matter of fact, different knitted fabric manufacturing companies marketed various luxury, comfortable, good outlooking loungewear for the consumers.
So, That’s all about knit fabric manufacturing with a knitting machine in the textile mill.
I would like to know more about the knitted technology and process.
I want to know more process technology about knitting for jute fabric.
