The advantages of the band knife machine are given below. They are:

  1. It is suitable for cutting very sharp curves.

  3. It is also suitable for cutting small parts.

Disadvantages of Band Knife Cutting Machine

  1. It is not possible to cut fabric directly from lay.
  2. Fabric wastage is high.
  3. Work load is high.
